The renown sword of the late Sir Wendel Ludwig. This fine longsword is made of the finest of steel in which it has its name inscribed in draconic down the length of the blade. Its golden crossguard has a large ruby set in its center, and there is a carving of a roaring dragon in its pommel.
You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
This sword can be used as an arcane focus and it bestows a +1 modifier to the bearer's spell attack and spell save DC modifiers.
As a free action the bearer may say the command word:
"My life for the Order"- Aetherius casts light on itself which does not require concentration. If the owner goes unconscious or is removed from the sword the spell goes out.
As an action you may say the command word:
"Dragons guide me"- You regain one expended spell slot. If the spell slot was 4th level or higher it becomes a 3rd. Once the command word has been spoken, it will not work again until the next dawn.
On a critical hit Aetherius' damage has exploding dice and does an additional 1d10 cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage. (The bearer chooses the damage type)
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
