Crafted carefully from the jawbone of a young Basilisk by an unknown weapon master among the Drow. Magically, the powerful and very acidic venom of the young Basilisk never fades.
On a hit, the boomerang deals 1d4 + 5 Bludgeoning damage and 2d6 acid damage.
You can use an action to cause thick, black acid to coat the boomerang. The acid remains for 1 minute or until an attack using this weapon hits a creature. That creature must succeed on a DC 18 Constitution saving throw or take 4d6 acid damage and lose 2 AC permanently on light too some medium armor and 1 AC on some medium too heavy armor. The boomerang can't be used this way again until the next dawn.
The boomerang is a ranged weapon, and any creature proficient with the javelin is also proficient with this weapon.
On a miss, a boomerang returns to the thrower's hand.
Notes: Damage: Acid, by a ranger or warlock, Damage, Debuff, Combat, Range
