Anti-Sword Armor

This piece of armor is imbued with a powerful enchantment.  The absolute defense against swords.  Whenever a sword would strike the armor it turns ethereal and the armor briefly becomes transparent, allowing swords to harmlessly pass through the armor.  This does not affect organic flesh.

Padded armor consists of quilted layers of cloth and batting.
