This thick leather band is adorned with concave and convex wave patterns, with black and red gems inbetween the waves, with golden cracks engraved on the precious stones. It is worn tightly fastened around the wrist, upper arm or thigh. Commonly used in particularly grim and violent tribes, druids made this items for their best and most ferocious warriors, improving their reckless tendencies. With this risky tactic, many could fell beasts way beyond their reach with a strong and unnaturally powerful attack. Some died while using them, but true warriors do not fear death.
Once a day, you may use your bonus action to activate the black gems on the item and trigger it. Until the start of your next turn, you may voluntarily forfeit the roll of saving throws for damaging effects or willingly take attacks, as many as you want. You gain vulnerability to the received attacks, and damage from those attacks cannot be reduced in any way and ignores resistances, but not immunities. All damage taken accumulates in the black beads, and after the effect ends, spikes plunge into your flesh, pumping all the magical energy into you.
After the spikes are shoved into you, the item pours the magic from the black gems into you until the end of your next turn. You cannot be healed during that timespan. Finally, when all this happens, the red gems glow brightly for a minute. The next attack roll you hit in that time violently discharges all the energy stored, dealing all the damage you received during the absorbtion phase +25% of it. The damage is dealt as force damage.
The item then discharges, and the spikes retract from your flesh.
