The ARCHIETECH™ Mechanical Exoskeletal Combat Heightening Armor [M.E.C.H.A], developed by the great artificer Archimedes, Is a modular framework made to heighten one's physical capabilities. On its own, the Mark 0's bare frame consists of an enveloping metal structure with many tubes, pipes, and reinforcements, and grants the wearer great mechanical strength. In addition, special modules can be attached to the Mark 0 Frame, given its power source can handle all of them.
Power. The M.E.C.H.A. frame is powered by a battery device, which can be upgraded. By default, the native power source can be charged with high-voltage electricity (lightning and such). Charging it is an ordeal, requiring thunderous weather, or sufficient lightning damage done to the power source, which needs to be exposed during this time. Specifically, charging the suit's original power source requires 1 hour of lightning strikes during thunderous weather, during which the user must guide the lightning to the power source, or 1000 lightning damage done by spells or other means, such as the Lightning Bolt spell. Power sources dictate how many modules can be powered by a frame, in a value expressed in MZ (Mega Zaps). The default power source has a capacity of 1000MZ
While using the Mark 0 Frame, a creature receives the following benefits:
- Their strength score cannot be lower than 20;
- The creature counts as one size larger when determining their carrying capacity and the weight they can push, drag, or lift.
- The power source works to enable additional modules, and the creature gains the benefits of any modules that are applied to this frame.
