This armor is constructed around scales from a giant alligator, backed with padded chainmail. This flexible yet durable armor grants the wearer resistance to non-magical bludgeoning damage. The natural construction of this armor also removes the disadvantage to stealth normally encountered with plate armor.
The armor is reinforced with scales from an adolescent green dragon. Granting the wearer a +1 bonus to AC while wearing this armor.
Finally, rows of small serrated dragon and alligator teeth give a defensive edge to close combat. The wearer may now attempt to escape the grapple as a bonus action instead of as an action; additionally, this attempt (success or failure) deals 1d6 slashing damage to the creature grappling the wearer of this armor.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
