Wondrous Item, uncommon
Expendable Scientific Device
This cube is made of metal and other substances, and can extend and retract metallic arms and tools. When given water and organic compounds (even ones that are not normally edible to humanoids), it prepares a hot, nutritious, delicious meal for them. The amount of food is approximately equal to the amount of materials it is given (approximately 1 pound of materials are needed to create a meal for one person). If activated a second time, it spews out enough unpalatable (but nutritious) sludge to feel one medium creature before ceasing to function entirely.
