This small acorn is covered in a thin gossamer thread woven in the pattern of a leaf. When crushed, a small flying squirrel with gossamer wings appears in your hand eating the acorn. It listens to a message you wish to convey as well as learning about a person known to you that you wish to convey the message. If the target creature is willing the squirrel flies into the air with magical haste, weaving in and out of the material and ethereal planes to reach the creature meant to receive the message. Within moments of using the acorn, the messenger appears before the target and conveys the intended message in your voice, with the target immediately recognizing it is you. After which the squirrel stares at the target for several moments and finishes the remainder of its acorn before fading from existence.
Any form of magic that blocks communication, teleportation, planar travel, or if the target is in an anti-magic field, will block the squirrel from delivering its message.
