Staff, uncommon (requires attunement by a Spellcaster)

This undersized quarterstaff is made of black horn and was originally designed for use by an imp familiar named Xaxilkuav. The imp’s master, a warlock bound to a lesser devil, was fastidious and demanding, and he forced Xaxilkuav to act as the warlock’s personal butler.

While attuned to and holding this weapon, you can use an action to dispel a single instance of the spell Grease. Alternatively, you can expend 1 or more charges to cast one of the following spells:

Prestidigitation: 1 charges

Create or Destroy Water: 2 charges

Purify Food and Drink: 2 charges

Detect Poison and Disease: 2 charges

Detect Magic: 2 charges

This staff contains 7 charges, and it regains 1d6+1 charges daily at dawn. Because of its small size, this staff can only be wielded as a weapon by creatures of size Tiny or small.

Versatile. This weapon can be used with one or two hands. A damage value in parentheses appears with the property—the damage when the weapon is used with two hands to make a melee attack.

Notes: Spellcaster
