This amulet is made of a phoenix's feather encased in crystal, and strung on a sturdy chain. It seems to shimmer with an internal fire even when no light falls upon it.
If the wearer of this amulet dies, they are brought back to life as if by the Reincarnate spell at the beginning of their next turn, regardless of any factors that might otherwise prevent the use of that spell (such as the destruction of their entire body, or the use of a spell or other effect that would trap their soul or turn them undead). They return to life at full health and standing upright.
The amulet does not restore any of the wearer's equipment or items that might have been destroyed by whatever killed them.
The amulet has 3 charges, one of which is spent each time its ability is used. They cannot be restored by any means. When the last charge is spent, the amulet shatters, the feather encased within it burns away to ash, and it loses all of its magical properties.
