This suit of armor is reinforced with adamantine, one of the hardest substances in existence. While you're wearing it, any critical hit against you becomes a normal hit.
When the armor is in light, half of it shines a brilliant white, while the other half seems to reject the light and instead takes on an obsidian sheen. However, should the observer look at the armor from a different angle, the halves will seem to switch colors to that of the other simultaneously, and always in balance.
The armor conveys the usual effects of adamantine full plate. It also grants the wearer a +1 bonus to their AC (up to +5) equal to the number of negative status afflictions currently affecting them (i.e. poison, paralysis, burning, slowed, etc.) Additionally, if the number of active negative status afflictions is three or more, the wearer is granted resistance to all damage. The armor itself has advantage against effects that would somehow break it.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
Notes: Immunity: Critical Hits, wearing this armor for three full days. However, the armor instantly attunes itself to a wearer who has felt true despair, but was able to rise above it., Combat, Warding, Str. 15 Required, Stealth Disadvantage
