While holding this shield, you have resistance to damage from ranged weapon attacks.
Whenever a ranged weapon attack is made against a target within 10 feet of you, Atlas' Aegis gravitational field causes you to become the target instead.
Once per long rest, Atlas' Aegis can be used to absorb all incoming damage as a reaction (one attack or one spell). Note the damage that would have been taken. During your following turn, as an action, Atlas's Aegis can fire a concentrated energy beam at an enemy dealing the noted amount of damage, or dissipates if unused.
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
Notes: Resistance: Ranged Attacks, Warding
