Wondrous Item, unknown rarity (requires attunement by a wearing the talisman for a number of hours equal to the wearer's Charisma Modifier)

Discovered in the ruins of an ancient civilization, near a massive spire of volcanic metals and dedicated to "The Lady of Iron", this Amulet has been widely debated as being either a cursed item or a wondrous one.

Wearing the talisman gives the wearer a soft spongy feel when touched, which grants a slight resistance to damage.  Oddly enough, it also gives the wearer a disturbingly faint but distinct aroma of cheese.  Which type of cheese seems randomly determined whenever the Amulet is worn, or after a long rest if the necklace is not removed.

For those foolish enough to ATTUNE to the talisman, they wake only to find themselves speaking a single phrase in the long-lost language, to which our scholars have yet to translate.  Anything they attempt to speak, write, or communicate in ANY form, regardless of languages known, only comes out as this singular phrase of unknown meaning:

"Omelette Du Fromage"

The only way to Unattune to this item, and the only way to break its curse, is by an old alchemical formulation found nearby in those same ruins.

The formula is as follows:

   -  4 Unseeded Oospore

   -  Common Salts, Pestled

   -  Peppercorns, Freshly Pestled

   -  Seeds Of The Myristica Fragrans Plant, Freshly Pestled

   -  Cheese From A Lowland Region, Grated Into Mixture

   -  Cheese From A High Mountain Region, Shredded On Top Of Heated Result

   -  Cream Churned or Whipped Until Solid As A Base

When Properly mixed and heated, this concoction becomes a soft solid that must be consumed by the Afflicted to undo the effects of the Amulet's curse.

As a side note, while properly attuned to this item, the wearer ALSO gains an unusual bonus to Charisma and advantage to Charisma Checks when flirting.  The Guild's top scholars and mages still have no clue as to the how or why...

Notes: Bonus: Armor Class, Resistance: Bludgeoning, Bonus: Charisma Score, Advantage: Charisma Ability Checks, Charmed, wearing the talisman for a number of hours equal to the wearer's Charisma Modifier
