In any case, the Cap is a highly powerful artifact. It allows you to cast Clairvoyance once per long rest, while you sleep. It is rumored to have greater powers still, though all mortals who have attempted to access them have fallen asleep and never woken again. It is said they live as lords in the Realms of Slumber, but none can say for sure.
