Staff (quarterstaff), very rare (requires attunement)

The head of this magic staff seems to swirl and spin, showing the shifting pools and sea of the Astral Plane.

A Compass In the Sea. Forged by ancient beings of the Astral Plane, the staff is designed to assist in astral navigation. While attuned to the staff and traversing the Astral Plane, you can use your action to speak the destination which you're seeking. The head of the staff will then shift to direct you towards the location, or towards the nearest portal to get you to the correct plane.

Astral Shunt. While attuned to the staff, you can cast the Banishment spell from it (save DC 16). However, when the spell is cast from the staff, a creature who fails its save is sent to the Astral Plane instead of where the spell would usually send it. This feature can be used once per long rest.

Force of Attraction. While attuned to the staff, you can use your bonus action to alter the gravity around yourself. While activated, all creatures within 5 feet of you must make a DC 16 Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the creature's speed is reduced to 0 and it can't take reactions as the increased gravity on it makes it slower than usual. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. Once a creature succeeds the saving throw, it is immune to the effect for 24 hours.

You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage, Combat, Versatile, Topple
