Amulet of the Archmagi

The Amulet can be worn as a necklace or other charm. Increasing your Spell Attack bonus by 1.

When you cast you can channel enrgy through the amulet and utilize it as a spellcasting focus. Any time you cast a spell. Roll a D20. This Roll can be made as part of a spell attack. On a roll of a 20 on a spell that doesn't require a spell attack, you duble the die damage. If you roll a 20 on a spell attack, you choose
-to empower the spell to the next level, not being able to empower it to a level higher than your higest spellslot
-recover the spent spellslot up to 6th level

If you roll a 1, the spell drains your magical energy. The spell fails and you loose an additional spell slot equal to the level of the spell. If there is no suitable slot, you loose the ability to maintain concentration or cast a spell until the end of your next turn.
