Weapon (shortsword), unknown rarity (requires attunement by a wielder with a favorable pact with Byakko, the Lord of Iron Dusk in order to use its extra functions.)

A pair of two curved nodachi sealed away long ago in the mouth of the White Tiger Statue of Hakumen-jinja. The blades are forged from steel so pure that the metal's surface seems reminiscent of the first snow in the mountains of Zan. Any other than the chosen champion of of Byakko would feel that the lightweight blades are impossibly heavy to lift. The right blade, Zan, is fast and nimble for quick strikes while the left blade, Tetsu is heavier, but with far more weight behind its downward slashes.

For the purposes of resistance, the weapon is considered magical and is classified as light for the purpose of dual wielding. It must always be wielded together or works at half potency and does not benefit from the Dusk Lord's Smite.

 Dusk Lord's Smite

After a successful hit with Zantetsu, instead of using two-weapon fighting, the wielder can cast Divine Smite every long rest with one charge.
