Avidere's Stillbow

The bow was magically created for silent long-range archery. Anything that somehow interacts with this bow is silent. This bow cannot be fired by regular strength, and thus must be attuned to in order to connect to the power of the bow.

This bow deals an additional 1d8 force damage. You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon.

Because this bow is so powerful, when it is shot, it creates a shockwave similar to a cannon; however, any loud noise that might be made is replaced with silence. Essentially, any creature within 20 feet of the bow when it is shot is deafened for a turn. Because the bow also affects the target, any creature hit by this bow must make a DC 17 WIS saving throw, or else fall under the Silence spell until the end of their next turn.

On a critical hit, the target must make a DC 17 CON saving throw, or else be stunned until the end of their next turn.

The arrow released makes no sound as it flies through the air, and any impact made is completely silent. Thus, if you are hidden and attack with this magic weapon, missing on the attack roll doesn't give away your position.

Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
