Weapon (longsword), very rare
Weapon (longsword), legendary (requires attunement by a Paladin)

You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. When you hit a fiend or an undead with it, that creature takes an extra 2d10 radiant damage.

While you hold the drawn sword, it creates an aura in a 10-foot radius around you. You and all creatures friendly to you in the aura have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects. If you have 17 or more levels in the paladin class, the radius of the aura increases to 30 feet.

Arturia is a sentient magical sword, capable of speaking to either its wielder or to any creature within a 60 foot radius with telepathic communication. It can be held and wielded by anyone, but it has been found that only a paladin can use the sword and not go absolutely insane, as the attunement process involves the sword trying to take control of the user's mind and screaming DEUS VULT with supernatural force. It is intelligent and capable of speaking in what appears to be any known language, but seems to prefer screaming DEUS VULT and ordering its wielder to smite heretics, typically in common.

If the sword feels that its agenda has not been satisfied, either by fault of the wielder or fault of the enemies that face it, it has been known to attempt subjugate its master and go absolutely berserk, typically annihilating everything in the vicinity that the sword deems heretical. The exact specifications of this subjugation are unknown, but it does tend to leave its wielder close to death and exhausted.

Proficiency with a longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
