Weapon (longsword), very rare (requires attunement by a Barbarian or Fighter)

This longsword appears to be just an average, worn weapon upon first glance, but when the sword’s anti-magic property is used, the sword gives off a plume of black smoke.

While attuned to the sword, the wielder may use one of the sword’s charges for one of the following Anti-Magic properties:

  • When using the attack action, on a hit, the sword will break a magical effect (such as Haste, Enlarge, Bless, etc.) on its target. This will have no effect on other creatures that are under the same spell.
  • You may use your reaction to reach out and cut through a ranged spell that is coming at you or passing within 5 ft of you. This has no effect on ranged spells that do not follow a path to their target (such as Blindness/Deafness)

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.

Notes: Barbarian or Fighter, Versatile, Sap
