This explosive device appears as a globus cruciger; a banded golden sphere set with jewels and topped by a holy symbol.  The grenade has been blessed by a deity, whose holy symbol forms the pin.  The GM chooses the god and associated alignment or determines the alignment randomly.

As a bonus action, a creature can pull the holy symbol from the orb to arm the grenade. Only a creature whose alignment matches that of the deity who blessed the grenade can remove its holy symbol. Once armed, the grenade explodes in a matter of seconds. As an action, the wielder can hurl the grenade up to 60 feet. At the end of their turn, the grenade explodes.

Any creature within 20 feet of the grenade when it explodes that has 100 hit points or fewer disintegrates into a pile of ash. Creatures with more than 100 hit points must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, taking 260 (40d12) radiant damage (if the deity is of good or neutral alignment) or necrotic damage (if the deity is evil) on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
