This exquisitely crafted golden chain holds a small pendant in its center. The pendant is reminiscent of lightning radiating out of a storm cloud. In the center of the pendant is a large topaz gem, surrounded by six smaller citrine gems. On the back of the pendant, carved in very small and flowing calligraphy, is the word Izax.

While wearing this amulet, you can cast the shocking grasp and shock cantrips.
The amulet has six charges for the following properties. It regains one expended charge daily at dawn. Whenever you take at least 5 points of lightning damage, the amulet regains one expended charge. Finally, you can perform an hour long ritual during a storm to cause the amulet to regain all of its expended charges.
Spells. While wearing this amulet, you can use an action to expend some of its charges to cast one of the following spells (save DC 17, spell attack bonus +9): call lightning (2 charges), conjure elemental (4 charges, lightning elementals only), lightning bolt (2 charges).
Overcharge. Whenever you expend a spell slot to cast a spell that deals lightning damage, you can expend 1 charge to cast that spell as if you expended a spell slot one level higher.
Ride Lightning. While wearing this amulet, you can expend 2 charges to cast dimension door while within a storm. When you do, the range of the spell is only limited to within the storm you are in. Additionally, the space that you leave from and reappear in are filled with a flash of lightning and a brief clap of thunder.
Shocking Surge. While wearing this amulet, you can use your action to expend 1 charge and move up to 20 feet without provoking opportunity attacks. You may choose to make a melee spell attack (+9 to hit) against one creature that you pass during this movement. On a hit, that creature takes 4d6 lightning damage.
Warding Charge. While wearing this amulet, you can use your reaction whenever you are hit with a melee attack to deal 1d6 lightning damage to the attacking creature.
