The inner workings of this watch, show a display of cogs and gears rotating and clicking in rhythm. The very tiny mechanics softly click with each passing second. While wearing this, the user can instantly know what time/day/month/year it is, no matter their position in the world.
If the user is an Artificer and proficient in Jeweler's Tools, they can make Dexterity or Sleight of Hand checks (at the DMs discretion) to improve this clockwork time piece. The user must have a valid description of the improvement they are intending to make. The DM can adjust the DC based on the difficulty of the work being done.
