Potion, legendary
A drink primarily consisting of milk taken from an Aesirian cheese sheep, known to have unpredictable effects when consumed by a creature. Any creature that consumes this concoction gains the effects of a random potion of legendary or lesser rarity. If the potion has a varying rarity, the effect is that of the highest rarity variant. Additionally, roll on the following table to determine what additional effects are applied to the creature that consumed the milk.
| d10 | Result |
|---|---|
| 1 | The potion takes effect, and its container immediately refills with another serving of the milk. |
| 2-3 | The creature becomes afflicted with a random long term madness for as long as the potion is in effect. This madness can be cured via normal means. |
| 4-8 | The creature must immediately roll on the wild magic surge table. |
| 9 | The creature must roll on the wild magic surge table on the start of its turn for as long as the potion is in effect. |
| 10 | The potion's effect becomes permanent. The effect can be ended by Dispel Magic or Remove Curse cast on the creature, but only if the spell is cast at 9th level or higher. |
