One day in the year 1282 D.R. a farmer went to the market and was not feeling good, so he bought a woven basket and filled it with food to take home. Upon eating his fill and resting for a while the farmer realized he had bought 1 cabbage and 1 large squash at the market and had forgotten to put it in his basket. The farmer was a bit of a miser and was irritated at his mistake of forgetting his food. He took his new woven basket back to the market and visited a Wizard who could enchant things and summon devils or just about anything a Wizard could do, this Wizard knew how to do it. The farmer wanted the Wizard to help him to never forget his food or anything else if possible. The Wizard was confused for a while as to how to help the farmer. Finally the Wizard came up with an idea. He summoned an Imp and told the Imp to get into the farmers woven basket and never to leave the basket. Giving the Imp further instructions to help the farmer remember everything that goes into the basket and to try to help the farmer remember everything that happens while the farmer is carrying the basket. The Imp being summoned of course obeyed the Wizard. Alot of folk around the market saw the farmer carrying an Imp in his woven basket and asked why he had an Imp in his basket. Of course he forgot what the Imp was for and so the Imp had to explain to everyone that he was in the basket forever and required to help the farmer remember everything. That sounded like a good idea and ever since 1282 D.R. there have been several requests for a Woven Basket of Imp, that comes with an Imp. All because one miserly farmer forgot to put his squash and cabbage into his basket.
