Ale Mug of Crop Watering

Long ago in a village near The Thunder Peaks there was a problem with flooding rainfalls every few days.  The villagers nearly lost all their crops to the floods before praying to Chauntea and asking her Priests and Priestesses if this were a curse.  No response was given for another week or so.  One evening during the floods a Priest of Chauntea went to the Tavern for a meal and to have a few mugs of ale.  A strange looking traveler was there who had never been seen before.  Drinking from an ornate cup with a Sahuagin Warrior carved into the sides of the mug the stranger went about his meal quietly and spoke to nobody except the Tavern Master.  The Priest of Chauntea out of good manners said nothing to the traveler and went back home that evening to rest.  During his sleep he was plagued with nightmares and a vision from Chauntea warning him of the stranger and his ornate Sahuagin Mug.  The Priest awoke the next morning early and went to gather the other Priests and Priestesses at the Temple.  They confronted the Stranger who was still at the Tavern and took away his Ale Mug.  The stranger just left town muttering something about Umberlee and drunken Sahuagin Wizards.  Confused, the Priests of Chauntea soon found out that the Mug with the Sahuagin carved into the sides would produce a storm every time the Mug was filled with ale and imbibed.  SO.....It has no good use in the hands of a drunken traveler who happens to drink far too much.  The Priests kept the Ale Mug of Crop Watering in their temple and used it when the crops needed a good storm.  Very Rare Mugs, they can usually be found in the hoards of Blue Dragons or in the possession of Sahuagin Warriors who have been sent on the occasional land raids.  If you find one it could use a good home in the hands of a responsible and good natured farmer.  Just make sure he or she does not drink too often!  Fill it up and make it rain!
