This spell book appears to be a normal book prior to attunement, but when held by a wizard will be instantaneously recognized as more than it is. Once attuned the book will take on an appearance customized to the owner. Also once attuned the item only appears when called to the wizards hands by the owner.
Though maintaining the size of a standard spell book, this book contains unlimited pages. The writing in this book is only visible to the owner and any person he/she allows.
If desired when transcribing a spell into this spell book, the owner can choose to use his own blood taking 2d4 damage. This circumvents the need for parchment and ink and shortens the time to learn a spell to 10 minutes. (Per level of spell learned)
