The cane is not magical in the strictest sense, but done house an arcane focus in the head. The tip has been hollowed out with enough space to safely house a vial of on of the poison’s, explained below, and a needle to pierce a target replacing the wielders attack action. If the wielder has the extra attack feature, the needle replaces one attack.
the cane can only house 1 vial at a time and cannot be altered once set. While I’m combat as an action the wielder can roll [roll]1d10[/roll] to refill the cane. Out of combat the wielder can choose to fill the cane with any poisons they have available.
All poisons last for 1 minute, requiring a DC 15 Constitution Saving throw
Poisons:
1-3: Sickening Philtre: On a failed save the target becomes poisoned, it can repeat the save at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.
4-5: Paralysis Poison: On a failed save the target becomes paralysed for the duration, they reappear the saving throw at the end of each of their turns, ending the effect on a success.
6-7: Vomiting blight: the target becomes poisoned for the duration. At the beginning of their turn, for the duration, they make a constitution saving throw, on a success they remain poisoned but suffer no further effect for that round. On a failure the begin violently vomiting and cannot take any actions or reactions until their next turn.
8-9: Blinding poison: on a failed save the target becomes blinded. They repeat the save at the end of their next turn, ending the effect on a success.
10: Entropic touch: the target takes 4d6 necrotic damage, that cannot be reduced in anyway, as their body withers. If the target is plant based, it takes double the damage rolled.
Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
