While holding this shield, you have a +1 bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC.
This shield is engraved with the symbol of a golden lion with two crossed swords. Represents the strength, courage and tenacity of mortal men.
When you carry this shield you can use your reaction to block a melee or ranged attack. If you want to use this effect to defend an ally you must be at most 20's of you and be able to position yourself at his side, as you move you will generate attacks of opportunity (Enemies are disadvantaged in the attacks). Until the start of your next turn after successfully blocking the attack you get a bonus of + 3AC you and your ally that you guard (if you used the effect to defend an ally).
You can only use this property again until the end of a long break.
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
