You have resistance to cold damage while you wear this armor. You may add up to 2 from your DEX to your AC.
Whenever you take non-cold, non-fire damage, every creature within 5 feet must make a CON saving throw of half your AC + your Constitution modifier or take cold damage from the attack damage modifier (usually Strength or Dexterity). If an attack does not add a skill modifier or if the save is made, there is no damage.
If you take cold damage, all creatures within 5 feet take equal cold damage. There is no save for this.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
Notes: Resistance: Cold, To don this armor, you must make a DC 9 Constitution saving throw (half the AC) or take 1d6 cold damage on each failure, Combat, Warding, Str. 15 Required, Stealth Disadvantage
