This Item is to be paired with Amulet of Self Reflection (Light) When you are on the path of Darkness (Evil, Lawless, etc), you must wear the Dark version of the Amulet and remove the Light version of the Amulet
You gain +1 bonus to AC and saving throws while you wear this Amulet following the path of Light. Slipping onto the path of Darkness provides the opposite -1 AC and saving throws.
Your trinket was yours before you met Bishop Rigel the Compassionate. He hung it on a chain, made of a fine metal that you can’t quite identify. He blessed it with the power of his god and hung it around your neck. It cannot be removed, other than by one powerful enough to break the magic that Rigel the Compassionate channeled from his god. When you are on the path of light it behaves as an amulet of protection. Should you stray from the path, it is the opposite, an amulet of unprotection, reducing your AC and saving throws. But the god of light is compassionate and will forever waits for your return to the path, at which point the amulet is once again your protection.
