This armor typically has 1d4 + 2 magic magic runes inscribed into it. It also has many nonmagical inscriptions in celebration of Mat'Selesnyia. The bonus runes can range from +0 to +4 depending on the wearer's ability to commune with Mat'Selesnyia.
Six types of runes exist. The GM decides the type of each rune on the armor or determines it randomly. The armor can have more than one rune of the same type. To use one, you must be wearing the armor. Each rune contains a spell that you can cast from it as a bonus action (using your spell save DC if a save is necessary). Once a rune's spell is cast, that rune can't be used again until the next dawn.
