Weapon (longbow), legendary (requires attunement by a 1 hour)

This weapon is decorated to look like a phoenix in flight. It was forged in the blast of a dying arc light phoenix, and is infused with its magic. When the bowstring is drawn, lightning crackles down the string to the arrow, giving it a spectral phoenix appearance.

You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made using the weapon. On a hit, the weapon deals an extra 3d6 lightning damage.

Whenever you roll a 20 on your attack roll with this weapon, each creature of your choice within 5 feet of the target takes 5 thunder damage from the lightning blast.

As an action, you can unleash a 60-foot line of destructive energy from the weapon. Each creature in that area must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, taking 12d6 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Once this action is used, it can’t be used again until the next dawn.

Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage: Lightning, 1 hour, Ammunition, Heavy, Range, Two-Handed, Slow
