Adam's Picnic Basket

This picnic basket has a central pouch and two side pouches, each of which is an extradimensional space. The basket always weighs 5 pounds, regardless of its contents.

This basket is magical, and can produce an endless amount of regular muffins, or a specific amount with different properties. Retrieving a muffin from the basket requires an action. Eating the muffin requires another action.

Types of muffins:

Common:

• Healing Muffin: Heals the person who eats it for 5 hit points. 
• Fog Cloud: Cast spell fog cloud in an area with throwing the muffin
• Infusion Muffin: Infuse a weapon with a type of damage (fire, ice, poison) for 10 minutes.

Uncommon:

• Muffin of climbing:  you gain a climbing speed equal to your walking speed for 1 hour. During this time, you have advantage on Strength (Athletics) checks you make to climb. 

• Bomb muffin: A muffin that allows you to create an explosion within range. 60 ft range.  1d6 + Dexterity damage when dexterity save failed. On successful save, take half damage. Can use extra charges to increase damage by 1d6 (1 charge to increase)

Rare:

• Muffin of Clairvoyance:  you gain the effect of the clairvoyance spell. There appears to be a yellow eyeball on the muffin that disappears as the wrapper is removed.

extremely rare:

• Circle of Death: Adam fed the basket 3 black pearls and has imbued it with the ability to cast circle of death. Uses 5 charges to create. 

  A sphere of negative energy ripples out in a 60-foot-radius sphere from a point within range where the muffin is thrown (60 ft throwing range). Each creature in that area must make a Constitution saving throw. A target takes 8d6 necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

The basket has a few limitations. It has 5 charges to start, and each charge is used to produce the special muffins. A common muffin uses 1 charge, a uncommon 2 charges, and a rare muffin 3. Extremely rare is 5 charges. The charges reset after 1 day (or long rest). Adam spends 100 gold to add two more charges.
