After picking up this sword, the sword will start speaking to you. If you are not proficient with the weapon it will insult you, telling you to leave it be. If you are proficient with the weapon, the sword will greet you in a kind manner and ask if you want to take it along with you. If you agree to this, you will be magically bound to the weapon, unable to use any other sword than it and unable to give it away. You can still use ranged weapons and spells, and a remove curse spell unbinds you and will allow you to let go of the weapon.
After landing an attack with this sentient weapon you can use a bonus action to give this sword a mental command to cast Vicious Mockery. When you do so, the sword begins to speak up, shouting a series of insults laced with enchantments towards the target that has been hit. The sword uses its own vocal component and the cantrip has a DC15 Wisdom Spell Save. The Cantrip scales with the wielder's level.
If you miss an attack while attacking with the sword, the weapon will use a free action to cast Vicious Mockery towards you instead.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
Notes: Damage, Communication, Debuff, Combat, Cursed, Versatile, Sap
