Weapon (glaive), rare (requires attunement)

This item can appear as a golden scepter or take the form of a deadly weapon. in weapon form, the golden blade of this scythe is crafted from a mysterious arcane alloy. This weapon inflicts 1d10 more Necrotic damage. 

Instrument of Death. When you successfully hit a target with this scythe, you can change the dice rolled by a natural 20. This attack is then resolved as a critical hit, it also ignores any damage resistance or immunity. This property can’t be used again until the next dusk.

Scepter of Domination. While carrying this scepter, you have advantage on your Intimidation checks. Also once per day, you can apply the charmed condition to a humanoid creature that you successfully intimidated. The charmed creature considers you as a natural and dreadful leader. This status last for 1d4 hours, or until you or your companions do anything harmful to it. Once you use this property, you can’t do so again until the next dusk.

 

This Scythe was the weapon of the Deathpact angel named Absolution.

Proficiency with a Glaive allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
