Weapon (greatsword), very rare (requires attunement)

You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. When you hit with an attack using this magic sword, the target takes an extra 1d6 lightning damage. In addition, while you hold the sword, you have resistance to lightning and thunder damage.

Lightning Strike. The sword has 4 charges. While holding it, you can use an Action to expend 1 charge to make a ranged attack against one target within 60 feet of you. On a hit, the target takes 6d6 lightning damage. On a natural 20, you may make an additional attack roll against a new target within 60 feet of the first. The sword regains 1d4-1 charges at dawn.

Lightning Rod. If an effect deals lightning damage to a creature within 60 feet of you while you are holding the sword, you may use your reaction to redirect the lightning into the blade. If you do, choose any number of creatures other than you within 60 feet of you. These targets do not take lightning damage from the triggering effect during this turn. Instead, you take the sum total of the lightning damage the targets would take. Roll a 1d20, on a 10 or higher, the sword regains 1 charge.

The sparking flashes of light. The hum of building energy. The snap of discharging electricity. The cry of smoldering monstrosities.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
