This dogwood-relative's leaves are golden in nature. When eaten or inhaling the smoke from burning them, this magical herb helps open the heart and increase intuition while clouding the mind. When the herb is consumed, the user's Wisdom Ability Score increases by 2 and Intelligence Ability Score decreases by 4 for 1 hour.
The effects are cumulative. For every additional bud eaten or smoked within the hour, the duration of its effects are extended by an additional hour and the user's scores are affected again by the same amount. If their Intelligence score drops to 3 or below, they lose the power of intelligible speech and are incapacitated as they stare into the distance with a blissful smile.
If an individual experiences the effects of the bud at least 15 times over 5 days, the effects become permanent.
