Thousands of years ago, during the Vallhum war between the Arcwatchers and the other Ancients a weapon of Fey magic was being made in hopes to change the outcome of the war. The residing magic of the Fey Wild began to leave its toll on the ones who were around the object. Slowly over time the members of this project lost their grip on reality one by one growing insane. For this reason the project was abandoned and never completely finished.
This weapon is considered a +2 Longbow. When firing this Bow it deals an additional 1d8 Fire damage and 1d8 Psychic damage whenever this hits an enemy. Additionally this weapon has 2 charges. Whenever the user attacks, they may use 1 charge of the Bow, When a charge is used the Bow whispers a string of words into the wielders ear, "To those Heart Strung upon my Destruction I offer a painful death." The next attack to hit an enemy draws out its deepest fears as if under the Phantasmal Killer spell. The Bow regains these charges after a long rest
Curse: The Bows special ability can be used without any charges remaining but the wielder must make a DC17 Wis saving throw or suffer 1lvl of madness
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
