The wearer of this amulet can use one action to summon a griffon familiar equivalent to ¼ the size of a full-grown griffon. This griffon will level alongside the wearer. At level 5 the griffin can grow to ½ the size of a normal griffon up to the wearer's proficiency modifier times per day. At level 10 the griffon can grow to the size of a normal griffon up to the wearer's proficiency modifier times per day.

Intrinsically linked to the Amulet of Rivia, Roach is a 1/4 sized griffon. He is a small but fiercely loyal creature, will fight beak and claw to protect the rightful owner of the amulet. Multiattack - The griffon makes two attacks: one with its beak and one with its claws.
Beak: Melee Weapon Attack: +4 (STR + Prof) to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit:(1d6) piercing damage
Claw: Melee Weapon Attack: +4 (DEX + Prof) to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit:(1d4) slashing damage.
Form Change - cast time - instant, range - self, cost - 1 action (must meet level requirement for form)
*Starting at level 5, Roach can begin to show his true potential. At level 5 he can take the form of a 1/2 sized Griffon. This form will grant him a +2 to strength and dexterity as well as doubling his maximum hit points and current hit points. Roach will also gain +2 to AC while assuming this form. While in this form Roach's beak attack will increase to (1d8 + STR) and his claw attack will increase to (2d4 + DEX). Roach can maintain this form for up to 2 hours and can enter the form up to the owner of the amulet's proficiency modifier times per long rest.
*Starting at level 10, Roach can show the world the might of a true Griffon. At level 10 he can take the form of a full sized Griffon. This form will grant him a + 5 to strength and dexterity as well as quadrupling his maximum hit points and current hit points. Roach will also gain +4 to AC while assuming this form. While in this form Roach's beak attack will increase to (1d10 + STR) and his claw attack will increase to (2d6 + DEX). Roach can maintain this form for up to 3 hours and can enter this form up to the owner of the amulet's proficiency modifier times per day.
