This staff is almost entirely brass but must be hollow because of its weight, the heavier end is crowned with intricately twisted facets holding the 3 perfectly round faintly glowing gemstones, down the body of the staff are to-scale precise carvings of teleportation circle runes.
This staff has 3 charges. While holding the staff you can use an action and expend 1 charge to cast the teleport spell from it. However, the teleportation circle must be carved into the staff. To carve a new teleportation circle into the staff the carver must be a wizard or proficient in a skill associated with carving or engraving tools (i.e. Jeweler's tools). In addition, the carving can take anywhere from 8 to 24 hours to carve a new circle into the staff. There is also only room for 8 circles into the staff.
2/8 Circle's spaces are carved into the staff: The circle in the room where the staff was discovered and an unknown circle. DC20 Arcana, DC25 History, (proficiency required for identification)
