The handle of the axe is all that is scene. until you command word while it is in your hand. After the command word is spoken blades of fire sprout from the handle in the shape of a battle axe. you do 3d8 fire dmg and 3d8 dmg If you are disarmed it returns to its normal form. you will have to use an action to pick up and use the command word again. If under water the blade is so hot the water boils take 1d4 dmg every round fought underwater.
Proficiency with a Battleaxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
