Wondrous Item, common
A lantern carved in the shape of a smiling treant that produces a green flame which provides bright light for 15ft and dim light for 15ft beyond that. The fire cannot be put out by water, but spells can extinguish the flame. The flame cannot be used to deal damage nor ignite flammables either. The holder can light or extinguish the flame as an action.
Additionally if attuned the lantern can be commanded to float near the PC to which it is attuned for 1 minute after which it floats to the ground and extinguishes
