Weapon (longsword), rare (requires attunement)

You can use a bonus action to speak this magic sword's command word, causing a caustic acid to pour from the blade. While the sword is covered in acid, it deals an extra 2d6 acid damage to any target it hits. The acid lasts until you use a bonus action to speak the command word again or until you drop or sheathe the sword. Foes struck by the Acid Blade must make a DC 15 Dexterity Save or suffer an additional 1d6 Acid Damage for the following 1d6 rounds.  Creatures so affected can try to remove the acid by taking an action or reaction and making a DC 10 Dexterity (Athletics) check.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
