Created by Retief after hearing whispers of the effects of firearms this simple metal tube mounted on a hand crossbow frame, within the barrel are engraved runes of attraction pulling the ball bearing inside and to the bottom of the tube. On the handle of the frame is a rune of inversion which when triggered by an arcane casters will inverts the effect of the runes of attraction causing the ball bearing to shoot from the barrel with extraordinary velocity.
Proficiency with a Hand Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
