Armor (half plate), uncommon
Mithral is a light, flexible metal. If the armor normally imposes disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks or has a Strength requirement, the mithral version of the armor doesn't.
Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
Notes: Stealth Disadvantage: Remove, Combat, Warding, Stealth Disadvantage

Posted Aug 12, 2022Yeah, for additional clarity, they just take the half plate item (including "Notes: Combat, Warding, Stealth Disadvantage") and add the mithral modifiers. So, yes, the still shows "Stealth Disadvantage," but the added "Stealth Disadvantage: Remove" counteracts that. The confusing part is that on mobile (at least on my phone) they are on different lines, separated, and the removal is listed first. It would probably be clearer if it was "Notes: Combat, Warding, Stealth Disadvantage, Stealth Disadvantage: Remove" or "Notes: Combat, Warding, Stealth Disadvantage, Remove Stealth Disadvantage"

Posted Dec 30, 2024The real question, Why is your Dex based character wearing Half-Plate?
But serious no it shouldn't because the Dex characters could wear it and have a AC of 19 which is hard to do normally.
