Staring into the violet crystal, a mad certainty floods your body and mind.
If you spend 6 seconds staring into the depths of the crystalline hilt, you gain a +5 bonus to your next skill check, but you take a -2 penalty to Wisdom saving throws for the next minute. It can be used a number of times per day (resetting at dawn) equal to your level. If used any additional times before this daily reset, the Wisdom saving throw penalty doubles (-2, -4, -8, etc) with each additional use.
Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
