Weapon (battleaxe), rare (requires attunement by a creature covered in the blood of a lycanthrope)

This item appears to be an ornately carved darkwood club bound in bands of silver. While grasping the handle, you can use a bonus action to cause an axehead of liquid silver moonlight to spring into existence, or make the axehead disappear.

You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon, which deals radiant damage instead of slashing damage. When you hit a shapechanger with it, that target takes an extra 1d8 radiant damage.

The battleaxe's luminous blade emits moonlight in a 60-foot radius. This light causes no illumination, however, the person attuned to the axe can see normally in darkness to a distance of 60 feet, as if everything is illuminated by a full moon.

Proficiency with a Battleaxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
