This heavy book contains evershifting stories and rumours of how the weave connects the material world to other planes and how Fate's design spreads through those strands as every creature's action or inaction causes ripples. While you are holding the book, you can use it as a spellcasting focus for your wizard spells, and you gain a +2 bonus to spell attack rolls and to the saving throw DCs of your wizard spells.
The book has 2 charges. As a bonus action, you can use a charge to pull a version of yourself from another strand of Fate's weave. This echo starts in your space and can use any of your remaining movement speed. At the start of your turn and when you or your echo is hit by an attack, the timelines collapse, the echo vanishes and you may choose which of the two spaces you are now in. The book regains the charges when you finish a short rest; as long as you spend 30 minutes consulting the changes to the stories within the book.
