Agony's initial form is that of a pure, black, metal sheath that holds Pain, it's form changes when Pain's toll is paid and the sheath forms a blade of pure shadow.
Agony is considered a Legendary Short Sword with a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls, and deals an extra 1d6 necrotic damage. It also has the following ability:
My Agony Is Yours: As a bonus action, you can recklessly will part of your life force into Agony, dealing 2d8 necrotic damage to yourself as the blade cackles madly and shadows surround your body. If you have 1 or more hit points at the start of your next turn, you heal double the initial damage taken. Additionally, your next hit with Agony will deal an additional 2d8 necrotic damage and ignore necrotic resistance or immunity. You must take a long rest before using this feature again.
Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
